How it works…
Vocal Jam is a safe place to express through your voice, connect your voice to your feeling body, and grow your singing skills and creativity. It’s also a sacred space in which to bring intention, to practice, and to come away with medicine. My aim is to compassionately support people through the head noise around singing by focusing on freedom, empowerment, and play, but definitely NOT perfection.We will sing easy repetitive wordless melodies, supported by a drum then built upon layer by layer on my looping pedal in the moment. You are welcome and encouraged to jam along with percussion if you desire: drums, shakers, etc.! Along the way, you will have a chance to inform the music with your own musical ideas and sentiments To complete, we will write a simple closing song together.
